Well, Ben has had his first official cold. It has been awful (for both of us). Runny nose, coughing, can't eat, can't sleep, wish I could give him NyQuil kind of cold. It has been a week now and he still can't seem to shake it. Through it all though, he has been his happy cheerful self. Daddy got sick too, and Ben was definitely the better patient. (ha ha) He is just such a wonderful little guy.

Prior to the cold he started sleeping through the night. After a very long week of persistence and tears (mostly mommy) he has learned to fall asleep on his own, as well as put himself back to sleep throughout the night. After 7 months of waking up every 2 hours, I can hardly believe it's real. I am so proud of him. The last 3 nights he has gone back to sleeping 8pm-6am. So the cold only took him on a little sleepless detour.

Tommorrow is Ben's First Thanksgiving and he will be dining on a delicious pears and winter sqaush dinner.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone, I know I can hardly express how thankful I am this year for my husband and son and our wonderful family.

We cannot believe in just a couple of days Ben will be 7 months old. Time is truly flying by. It is amazing how much he grows each and every day. He has started to walk if you hold his hands and wave bye bye, he sits up really well, and his speech sounds are becoming more advanced. He also is growing into a moose. He is definitely his father's son! We love him more and more every day, if that is possible. Enjoy the new pictures.
