Just a little note. Steve, Ben and I went for an ultrasound last week. We will we adding a little baby brother to our family. Zack looks healthy and happy in mommy's belly and we cannot wait to meet him in the fall!
Just as exciting... Ben has moved to a big boy bed and is doing really terrific! We are so proud of him.Comments:Add a comment:

We're officially announcing the impending birth of Baby #2. Ben seems to think it's a "baby seester." He wants to draw in Mommy's baby journal daily and refuses to say "baby brother." We had our first ultrasound today and all looks good. Baby is 9 weeks, 6cm long and swimming around like a hyperactive tadpole! Enjoy the first picture of Baby 2!

Hi everyone! First of all we are all great and hope you are all well too! Here we go into fall with Ben. He is loving the outdoors and the newly fallen leaves. He can tell you all about the trees, the birds, the sky, cars, trucks. He can talk about anything you can think to talk to him about. His vocabulary exploded about 3 or 4 weeks ago. Steve and I cannot get over all he says and learns to say each day. He has quite the little temper too. He growls "NO" whenever you suggest something he doesn't approve of. He says "please Mommy please" whenever he's not getting his own way. He's learned how to run and gets faster every day. Now he unlatches the gate to the yard and runs down the driveway. (Good thing I'm exercising religiously on my elliptical machine.) He is still eating great and he has taken to drinking from a big adult-size sport bottle. He sometimes drinks so much water... well as you can imagine it's a lot of water for a little diaper. He also loves to draw and tell you which letters are which if you put them in front of him. It is crazy watching this little baby grow into such an amazing little boy.
Memere and Papa Chuck came to visit this month and we all had a great time. Uncle Dean also stopped by for a short visit, which was fun. Daddy is doing very well. He loves his new job and is finding it very rewarding. Mommy has taken up selling tupperware for a little extra money for the family (jennyzear@comcast.net if you would like to buy some tupperware from me) and is loving being Ben's mom.

Daddy has been very busy with his new job at Monster, so the pictures are without the funny captions he does so well. It has been so long I thought I would just put the pictures up for everyone. Everyone here is great, hope you all are well too! Much Love, Jenny

Ben is doing great, he loves the warm weather and being outdoors. He cannot get enough of anything that has to do with water, be it the bath, hose, pool, or his water table. He is walking, talking, and eating like a pro. His favorite thing to do still is read his books. He will bring them to you and sit in your lap so that you can read to him. As you can see by the videos he is also very fond of talking on the telephone. Just the other day we let him play with the remote to the tv, and he managed to order a pay per view movie. Daddy had to call the cable company and cancel, turns out he ordered something that was free. Hey, start them out early. Well, that's a little update. Ben is quite the little guy, beautiful and funny and so amazing to watch growing so quickly before our eyes. He just loves to hug hug hug and kiss me, and then there's that smile... Makes all the tantrums and sleepless nights fade away.

He's been one for a whole two weeks and continues to amaze and amuse us. He loves to tease Daddy with food and he thinks that almost anything Mommy says is hilarious. He also LOVES to hug. He hugs people, toys, books, anything. Check out the new album and videos!

Ben walked! He's been stumbling and falling forward for a few weeks, but today he stood up, turned towards Daddy, and took three legitimate, controlled steps! Just one day after his first Birthday! He did it again a few times afterwards. And just today, Mommny was saying "He's never going to walk. He's going to be 35, crawling around his house!" Wrong...
